Kingston – It’s a partnership that has the potential to help a number of local families. The YMCA of Kingston has teamed up with the Estate of Larry Gibson in an effort to raise money so that youth in the area can access YMCA programs and services for a fraction of the cost. But for the fundraising initiative to be successful they need the community to open up their hearts and wallets. The Y is looking to raise 30-thousand dollars. Here’s where the partnership comes in. Every dollar donated will be matched by the Estate of Larry Gibson.
Roger Romero, YMCA Board Member
“At the Y we really want to make sure that everyone can access our services regardless of they’re able to pay financially, so this is a really good way to make sure that the whole community of Kingston can access our facilities and really live a healthy lifestyle.”
