“Brandon Sands pitched a great game..Adam Smith came up clutch with a big home run..all the boys played great, no errors and I dont know how many strike-outs Sands had.”

Sands recorded 15 K, saying everything seemed to be working

“Ya, everything was just jiving tonight, the rise ball was definitely working well along with the drop but I felt the rise was definitely the go to pitch tonight.”

Thompson/

“The kids unreal, he makes timely pitches–he throws hard..even guys that he plays against all over Canada cant touch him some day.”

Its a best of five series but Sands feels winning game one certainly sets the tone.

Sands/

“Oh it was very important–I think definitely getting that first win is a good thing to have and hopefully we can keep winning going forward…it’ll be a little tougher next game I bet..they had a couple of weeks off so I’m predicting a closer game in the next one for sure.”
