Professional hockey is coming to Kingston….the Brampton Beast of the East Coast League will play an exhibition game at the Invista Centre against the Jackels from Elmira New York…

Peter Goulet/Beast Assistant Coach

“Absolutely it’s great hockey.
It’s high end, these kids are NHL draft picks — they’ve got guys that have played in the NHL played a lot of American League games — it’s definitely real good hockey.”
Both teams only bring about 30 guys into camp so there’s only 2 cuts for each team to make.
It’s not like a junior camp where you can start with 60, 70 a hundred guys at camp — we’ve got 30 guys and these guys are coming in and battling it out — this one’s going to be a high paced game and a very competitive game — these guys are trying to make a pro hockey team

The beast will be unleashed at 6 o’clock on Tuesday October 4th…
for those that are’nt familiar with the team…..there’s a strong local connection…
