Two drivers nabbed for stunt driving in Kingston

Kingston Police nabbed two stunt drivers at the same time early this morning.

An off duty officer on his way home at 4:30 a.m. saw a pair of larger off road trucks tearing up a field in the Bayridge Drive and Sierra Avenue area.

He notified his colleagues and a patrol car was dispatched to the area.

On arrival the two trucks burst onto Princess Street near Augusta Drive and both were doing 126 kilometres per hour in a 60 kilometre zone.

The trucks were eventually stopped and the drivers charged.

A 21 year old Kingston man and a 17 year old boy from Verona have both lost their driver’s licences and vehicle for seven days.
