A 10 year old Stirling-Rawdon girl is in hospital after being struck by a minivan while waiting for a school bus.
Police say it happened at about 7 a.m. today on Highway 14, just north of Prest Road.
The girl suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
She was first taken to hospital in Campbellford, but police say she would likely be transferred to the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
Stirling-Rawdon Police have called in the OPP’s traffic collision reconstructionist to assist in the investigation and to determine is charges should be laid.
