Car belonging to Kingston Town Crier stolen

A car belonging to Kingston’s Town Crier has been stolen in broad daylight.

Chris Whyman’s red 2013 Ford Escape was parked on Ontario Street in front of the tourism information centre where he works late this morning.

Police say Whyman parked the car just after 11 a.m. and it was gone at 11:45.

The vehicle has a personalized licence plate with “TCRIER” on it.

If you see the vehicle on the move call 911 to provide the location and last known direction.

If it’s parked and no one is in it call 613-549-4660.
