Providence Care is on the verge of getting the keys and moving in to its new hospital on King street.
It’s taken roughly three years to build the new hospital on King street west at a cost of almost 400-million dollars, including equipment.
All staff and patients at Providence Care and St. Mary’s of the Lake won’t begin moving in until April.
But providence officials will get the keys to the new hospital next week — and that will give them until April to provide staff training and orientation.
“We have a team coming in over the course of December to ready ourselves to start all of the training and orientation for all of our staff.
Running through mock codes as an example for fire response is one that people would be familiar with also setting up all of our I.T. equipment.”
