Ministry of Energy looks for public input at Kingston meeting

Kingston, ON, Canada / CKWS TV

The ministry of energy brought its province-wide tour to Kingston this evening.

The ‘energy-talks’ consultations invites Ontario residents to get information on the province’s long term energy plan as well as to suggest things to be included in it.

The plan will be released sometime next year, and suggestions taken at this and 16 other meetings across the province could lead to changes on your energy bill.

Candace Major: “Well it will certainly inform of the future of Ontario’s long-term energy plan. Which will have an effect on the pricing of energy. So we’re going to consider all the feedback that we receive and take that into consideration seriously as we move forward.”
