Kingston man facing several charges after stunt driving

A 53 year old Kingston man is facing five charges after being nabbed for stunt driving by the OPP.

Police stopped a vehicle doing more than 50 kilometres above the speed limit Friday evening on Highway 401 in Elizabethtown Township.

The man reportedly became aggressive with officers, assaulting one and then resisting arrest.

Ronald Bonnenfant is charged with stunt driving, assaulting police, resisting arrest, driving while suspended and having open alcohol in a vehicle.

He will be in court in January.
