Man wanted in Christmas Day stabbing arrested

A 43 year old Kingston man wanted in a Christmas Day stabbing has been apprehended.

Police reported last week that a man first beat another man around the head, then stabbed him several times in the torso.

The attack was unprovoked.

The victim was treated for injuries at hospital and released.

Police say Cecil Mills was taken into custody at an Adelaide Street address at about 6 p.m. Monday.

Mills is charged with aggravated assault, assault and weapons dangerous.

He is schedule for a bail hearing today.
