Kingston Police are asking for help to find two men who helped a sex assault victim during the early hours of News Year’s Day.
The attack is alleged to have happened near “The Spot Nightclub” just before 3 a.m. Sunday.
Police say a woman who had been at the Division Street bar was left with a man she had met that night.
While walking through the Burger King drive-thru, the man is reported to have sexually assaulted the woman.
She screamed for help, two men from another group came to her aide and the suspect fled.
The victim was able to provide a description and personal information about the suspect that she got from him earlier in the evening.
About an hour after the attack, a 30 year old man was arrested at Queen Mary Road apartment building and charged with sexual assault.
The two men that helped the victim left the scene before police arrived.
Investigators say the two men have eye witness information that could help the case and want to speak with them.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
