CURLERS HIT THE MARKET SQUARE RINK TONIGHT AS PART OF FEB FEST.

THE GREATER KINGSTON CURLING ASSOCIATION REPRESENTS 5 LOCAL CURLING CLUBS FROM NAPANEE TO GANANOQUE AND WERE THERE TO SHOWCASE THE WINTER SPORT.
THEY WELCOMED THE PUBLIC TO GIVE IT A TRY, INCLUDING MEMBERS OF THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF KINGSTON WHO STOPPED BY TO THROW A FEW ROCKS.
LINDA LOTT, CHAIR OF THE ASSOCIATION, SAYS THAT CURLING IS A SPORT FOR EVERYONE

LINDA LOTT/CHAIR, GREATER KINGSTON CURLING:
“IT’S SPORTY, IT’S SOCIAL… YOU HAVE FUN WHEN YOU’RE OUT THERE, SO IT’S TWO FULL HOURS OF FUN… AND YOU’RE ACTIVE.
AND I THINK THAT’S REALLY IMPORTANT THESE DAYS, THAT YOU GET OUT, YOU GET ACTIVE, AND BE PART OF A COMMUNITY.”

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GIVE CURLING A TRY, ALL 5 CLUBS IN KINGSTON’S SURROUNDING AREA WILL ALSO BE ¬†HOLDING AN OPEN HOUSE ON FAMILY DAY.
