Ya, we got on a bit of a roll there–we got some wins against Port Hope and that’s the goal, is to go into the play-offs as ready as we can be–so its been good that way.”

The road to the Clarence “Tubby” Scmaltz trophy begins on Friday at the Strathcona Paper Centre…a best of seven series with the Gananoque Islander’s…

“It will be a good challenge to play them..its a tight barn down there so it’ll be fun but its always fun to play Gan–they have a good goalie–a couple of new additions there so it should be a fun series to play them….it will be a hard working series –there’s lots of talent, lots of grit and hopefully not too much rough stuff–that’s just nonsense for the game of hockey….were both evenly matched but we need to play a full 60 minute game against Gan–we have’nt played that many of them–so I think some good hard work and we need to use our speed…and everybody needs to step up to the plate, knowing there roles and playing well as a team—I think we should do well.”
