Video has emerged about the paramedic response to Tuesday’s highway crash. It shows motorists ignoring the flashing lights and sirens as one ambulance heads to the highway. This viewer video show a Frontenac County ambulance stopped at the intersection of Sir John A. Macdonald and John Counter Boulevard. As many as 5 vehicles kept making a left-turn through the snowy intersection before the ambulance could proceed. A Kingston Police officer happened to be in the right place at the right time and stopped on of the motorists for disobeying the “move over” law. The ambulance was on its way to do triage at the fire station in Lansdowne.
