After one week, the precautionary boil water advisory for part of Prince Edward County has been lifted.
The advisory for residents and businesses in Picton and Bloomfield was put in place six days after a barge became partially submerged in Picton Bay.
A small amount of oil had leaked from the barge, which was located about 500 metres from the water intake for the filtration plant.
The barge was refloated last weekend and has been towed to Toronto.
While the boil water advisory has ended, officials say water testing with more frequency to ensure there is no contamination.
