Prince Edward County lifts state of emergency after water tests show reduced risk

Picton – A two-week-longĀ “state of emergency” in Prince Edward County has finally been lifted. Multiple tests give the community’s water supply a clean bill of health after a barge sank last month. It forced the shutdown of the Picton water plant. As Morganne Campbell reports the emergency is over just as some much needed money floats to the county.
