PEC sports fields closed due to flooding

From Prince Edward County council:

The County will continue to keep a number of baseball fields closed up to and including Friday, May 12th due to extremely wet conditions and continuing rainfall in the forecast. The following fields are included in the closures:

  • Both diamonds at the Picton Arena/Community Center in Picton
  • Both diamonds at the Westfall Park in Carrying Place
  • Both diamonds (the regular diamond and the small t-ball diamond) at Roblin Lake/Ameliasburgh Park in Ameliasburgh

Staff will reassess the condition of the fields on Friday, May 12th.

For safety reasons and to prevent any unnecessary damage, the public is asked to stay off the fields while these conditions continue.
