KINGSTON – More than a dozen local artists put their best work forward for a special event today. It’s called Jardin’ Art — and it’s a free event meant to transform downtown Kingston into an art gallery. Spring and summer themed art pieces like these are displayed on patios and storefronts around the city. The art filled day kicked off at Martello Alley.
“It’s important that it’s local. Get people interested. Also a lot of people living in Kingston don’t know Martello Alley exists. It’s mostly tourists that we have here. If they can come see what local artists are able to do — it’s phenomenal actually.”
