Kingston Police are asking for help to find a man who went on a wild ride in the Williamsville area of the city.
Police say it all started on the afternoon of May 1 at Elm and Division Streets when a car blew through a stop sign and almost hit a police cruiser.
The car turned around and sped off in the opposite direction on Elm Street.
According to citizen reports, the vehicle sped through the area of Mack and Alamein Street, ignoring stop signs, causing damage to a park and uprooting a cement mounted post on a pedestrian walkway.
Police say the car finally stopped on Westdale Avenue, but the driver escaped down a pedestrian walkway that leads to Sir John A. Macdonald Boulevard.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
