Both the Cataraqui and Quinte conservation authorities have extended flood warnings for their respective regions.
The warnings will continue until at least the end of July as water levels on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River remain at record high levels.
While levels started to recede after their peak at the end of May, rain in recent days has pushed them slightly up again.
Shoreline flooding and erosion are possible from high waves during storm and strong winds which are expected this weekend.
Waterfront residents are reminded to use caution along the shoreline, because erosion has made some banks unstable.
