Quinte West traffic stop leads to weapons charges

A traffic stop in Quinte West has led to a half a dozen weapons charges being laid against a Trenton man.

Provincial Police stopped a vehicle on Highway 33 near Highway 401 on Wednesday.

A search of the car turned up two rifles.

Charges include transporting a firearm in a dangerous manner and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Richard Starr has been charged and was expected in bail court today.
