KINGSTON – The sixth annual Artfest kicked off this weekend with record breaking attendance. Thousands of art lovers have been piling into City Park for the three day event that features more than 200 vendors from across the region. Everything from kitchen supplies to paintings is up for grabs. Proceeds will help support the local artists who create the unique items. Artfest is free and ends Monday, July 3rd at 6 PM.
“Or you can listen to music, have a beer in the craft beer tent. Have some food. There’s lots of food here. There’s a First Nations . Pavilion. We’ve got a poetry book launch that we created just for this event. So many things to see and do. It’s not just about walking around looking at things.”
