KINGSTON – Kingston has slipped in Money Sense Magazine’s top places to live in Canada rankings. This year, the Limestone City earned the 46th spot — scoring top marks for being a walkable city and having good access to health care. However, it’s a far cry from the city’s third place ranking back in 2012. The survey looks at more than 400 cities across the country and ranks communities based on things like affordable housing, crime rates and taxes.
“I think it’s still a pretty good ranking out of 400 cities in all of Canada. I think Kingston definitely deserves it.”
“I would definitely rank Kingston closer to the top 10. Living in this beautiful city, even if you’re not from here, it feels like home.”
“I like the history. It’s actually surprisingly sophisticated for a place that’s so small. That’s one of the things that’s interesting about it.”
