Pedestrian bitten by driver during road rage incident

A 58 year old Kingston man has been charged with assault after a pedestrian was bitten during a road rage incident.

Police say it happened last Saturday at Johnson and King Streets.

A person was attempting to cross the road when a car allegedly ran a red light.

The victim yelled at the driver who stopped and challenged the man to a fight.

At that point, the driver is alleged to have lunged at the victim and bit his nose.

He then got back in the vehicle and drove off.

The man turned himself into police Monday night.
