Relief is on the way for users of Kingston Mills Road.
Paving of a section of the road near the lock station that had been washed out by flooding in the spring is near completion.
Parks Canada says the road is expected to reopen on Monday afternoon.
Kingston Mills Road has been impassable since last October when Parks Canada began work to replace two bridges near the lock station.
It was supposed to reopen in late May, but the washout prevented that.
