RMC welcomes new Commandant

KINGSOTN – There’s a new commandant at Royal Military College. Brigadier-General Sebastien Bouchard has assumed command from Brigadier-General Sean Friday. Bouchard is a former RMC grad who served as commander of the Second Canadian Division Support Group” in Montreal. The Quebec native says he is honoured to lead the military college…. And will focus on increasing resources to ensure the safest environment for all. He says starting in the next term — a mental health and physiotherapy clinic will be open on the RMC grounds to provide additional support and resources to officer-cadets and staff.

Brigadier-General Bouchard/ RMC Commandant:
“The SSAV report, the new defense policy, gives us the tools to implement the different programs and support that’s already in place in this institution. To give back the right support to those officer cadets so they become officers in the Canadian Forces.”
