Chris Harvey
Videographer
Chris began his career as a Videographer, here at CKWS-TV in 1980.
He moved to Ottawa, working for the University of Ottawa and several radio stations From 1981 until 1998. In 1999 Chris moved back to Kingston, married the “girl next door”, and resumed working as a videographer at CKWS-TV. In March, 2006 Chris traveled to Cuba to cover the Terry Fox Run in Cienfuegos, Kingston’s sister city, which resulted in a popular five part series on Newswatch at 6. Chris unwinds by cruising the 1000 Islands in his boat, riding his motorcycle and singing and playing Saxophone in the 1960’s rock band, “The Growing Pains.”
