B.C. couple injured in Egyptian bus crash arrive back in Canada

VANCOUVER - The B.C. couple severely injured in a fiery bus crash in Egypt while on their honeymoon are back in Canada.

Steve Pannu says his daughter, Jennifer El Adam, and her husband Richard El Adam arrived at Vancouver International Airport aboard a British Airways flight Thursday night.

Both were badly injured when Egyptian bus crashed last week, just as they were finishing their honeymoon.

Jennifer had her left arm amputated following the crash and both she and her husband suffered burns.

The crash injured about 30 other people, and killed nine.

Pannu says the couple are being transported by ambulance from the airport to Vancouver General Hospital.
