Medical helicopter crashes in Wisconsin, three dead.
May 11, 2008MADISON, Wis. - A medical helicopter has crashed in Wisconsin, killing three people on board.
The dead include a doctor, a nurse and the pilot.
A spokesman at the University of Wisconsin Hospital says the hospital's Med Flight helicopter was returning to Madison Saturday night after dropping off a patient in La Crosse when it crashed.
The spokesman says a second helicopter that serves the hospital has been grounded.
The families of the victims have been notified, but the names were not immediately released.
