Clothes for Kids 2016 Campaign

Corus Entertainment Kingston Helps Children Stay Warm this Winter

The 28th Annual Clothes for Kids Campaign is underway.  Corus Entertainment Kingston, CKWS TV, 104.3 Fresh Radio and 96.3 BIG FM are proud to once again seek our communities support, in conjunction with local police agencies, social services, and our partners, in an effort to ensure children receive essential winter clothing.

Over 20 local agencies assist us in determining children in need in our community.  Each year approximately 2,500 children are on this list, requiring essential winter clothing.  Children are all under the age of 13 and come from our community.

That’s where you come in!  Each year individuals, groups, offices, and workplaces generously sponsor children by purchasing a needed snowsuit or donating money so snowsuits can be purchased.  With the help from local volunteers these snowsuits are organized and in one crazy week we ensure as many children as possible receive theirs.

Donations of brand new snowsuits for Clothes for Kids can be dropped off to any of our locations:  Frontenac Mall (Centre Court),  Cataraqui Centre (Guest Service Centre), Corus Kingston, 170 Queen Street.  Mercedes-Benz Kingston at 1432 Bath Road,  Van Herpt Motors at 1468 Bath Road, Motosport Plus Kingston 295 Dalton Avenue, or Kingston KIA at 2820 Princess Street.

Clothes for Kids goal is to raise enough funds and community awareness so we can provide brand new snowsuits to all of the children in need.

You’re support and generosity is greatly appreciated!
